The BSN Elastocrepe Bandage is a 100% high twist cotton and rayon is woven short stretch crepe bandage. The fabric is extensible along its length and has a degree of elasticity that is provided by the presence of crepe twisted cotton yarns, making it perfect for use with conventional paste bandaging techniques. If necessary, the bandage may be washed; when naturally dried and folded loosely, it will restore some of its previous suppleness.
The BSN Elastocrepe Bandage is used as a support to help with recovery after orthopaedic surgery as well as for the application of gentle pressure and support in the treatment of sprains, strains, and varicose veins.
It can be used on lower legs, knees, ankles, and elbows, and has non-fraying edges.
The BSN Elastocrepe Bandage offers firm support for leg ulcers and varicose veins. The unique weave reduces unnecessary stretching and promotes long-lasting, homogeneous compression.
Because of the thick fabric used to make the BSN Elastocrepe Bandage, the flexibility of the muscles and joints is unaffected. It has a claw clasp to make sure the bandage stays in place for strong support while allowing for regular skin breathing.
